International Women’s Day

Today is International Women’s Day – it feels like a special New Years Day for us as women – to look back at all that has been achieved in terms of the status of women, and give thanks that many of our grandmother’s dreams have been answered. But it is also a time to look forward – to make new resolutions – for ourselves, our sisters and daughters, to give voice for what is still not working for women, to address the issues that are being ignored.

Of course there’s always a section of the population who gets mighty pissed off that we boob-wagglers get a whole pesky day to ourselves whilst the poor penis holders don’t.

I get it, I do… NOT

I saw this post on my FB feed which addressed all that made me chuckle … entitled…

Today is International Women’s Day, also known to the Internet “But When Is International Men’s Day? Day” Do read it!

But I’d prefer to direct your attention to celebrating women… and women’s voices. So for one day only we’re offering 40% off all our Womancraft Publishing Kindles – so if you’ve been meaning to get one of my books… or one of our new Womancraft authors… then hurry along.
